I would like some help...
I have been trying to think about why it is we (people) seem to operate with a hierarchical/vertical orientation in our working relationships but heterarchically/horizontally outside work - in the context of why collaborative processes and cross disciplinary teams are the exception, not the norm, at work.
Can anyone point me towards papers/discussions/thinkers on this?
Thank you.
The Market Network is about social computing and insurance. Both are about people, data and sharing - though currently in very different ways. I doubt this will always be the case. The Market Network aims to foster a conversation about how they will come together. There'll be some other stuff too...
